Cracking the Dr.Rex?
I made the 'Crackbanker' with Reaktor. It's just a beat slicer and a sequencer I stole the interfaces from Dr.Rex of Reason.
The feature of the Crackbanker are :
- No need to make any rex files to load on Crackbanker. Just load any wav or aiff files on it.
- There's no 'auto slice' extention, but you can slice the beats only by clicking the numbers [2] [4] [8].... divide amount equally
- Easy assignment of slices, reverse, pitchshift, bitrate, barrage and the number of bank using the sequencer.
and the basic reason I made it is I just wanted to improve the sound quality of rex files. Dr.rex is super nice mirracle sampler I love, but the quality of sounds are bad a little bit. Don't you feel it? Or it's better quality in Reason3?

yes, but these are very beta version. And now the new official ensemble "VECTORY" is more useful for me. did you try it?

Dr. rex does have poor sound quality. i think that goes for alot of Reason instrument. but i like the fact you used the same interface. awesome.
